Who I Am

My name is Alexandra, and my great passion is traveling. Exploring new countries, getting to know different cultures, and talking with people from all over the world simply makes me happy.

I am not a full-time traveler. In my everyday life, I am a mother of an adult son, living in a partnership, and working full-time in adult education.

My travel companions are mostly my partner, but occasionally also my son and my sister.

For the future, I am planning a longer solo trip.

As for my budget, my travels are quite mixed. I do watch my money, but I also like to treat myself to the occasional convenience, such as a taxi instead of public transport now and then, a good restaurant, or a single room instead of a dormitory in a hostel on solo trips. Overall, this also always depends on the length of the trip and the vacation destination.

I look forward to your comments and, of course, suggestions for improving my blogs. I kindly ask you to be respectful toward each other and toward me. I do this in my free time and invest the time I currently have. Therefore, there is no fixed schedule for when I publish my blogs.
