Wie ich meine Reisen plane und welche Quellen ich dafür am häufigsten nutze:

Wenn ich mich für ein Urlaubsziel entschieden habe, sehe ich mir meistens zuerst verschiedene Videos auf YouTube dazu an, sowohl Reiseberichte wie auch Reportagen.

Gerne mag ich vor allem die Videos von Backpacking Bananas, Paddy Doyle, Ways of the World, Kara and Nate, Jumping Places, 2 Passports one Dream, Stuffed Cabbage Adventures, Flying the Nest, und Miss.tiff.travels, abonniert habe ich außerdem Terra Xplore und Arte, um nur einige zu nennen. Natürlich gibt es zahlreiche andere hervorragende Videos auf YouTube.

Außerdem besorge ich mir immer klassische Reiseführer in Buchform, bevorzugt die vom Michael Müller Verlag und Reise Know How. Auch Lonely Planet mag ich sehr.

Für Daten und Fakten konsultiere ich häufig Wikipedia.

Meine bevorzugten Quellen für Internetrecherchen sind Tripadvisor und Get Your Guide, auf beiden Plattformen habe ich auch schon zahlreiche Ausflüge gebucht.

Weitere interessante Informationen bekommt man oft auch in den Touristeninformationszentren vor Ort bzw. auf deren Plattformen im Internet.

Nicht zuletzt nutze ich auch gerne Chat gpt, vor allem wenn ich rasch Informationen brauche, aber auch zur Routenplanung. Vor allem wenn es darum geht Attraktionen abseits der ausgetretenen Touristenpfade zu finden, ist das meine liebste Recherchemethode. Auch um Routen zusammenzustellen eignet sich Chat Gpt sehr gut.

Once I’ve decided on a travel destination, I usually start by watching various videos about it on YouTube – both travel vlogs and documentaries.

You can also often find interesting information at local tourist information centers or on their online platforms.

Last but not least, I also like using ChatGPT – especially when I need information quickly, but also for route planning. When it comes to finding attractions off the beaten tourist track, it’s my favorite research tool. ChatGPT is also great for putting together itineraries.
