Siem Reap

Later in the afternoon, we wanted to take a closer look at Siem Reap once again.

We strolled through the lively streets, bought some more souvenirs, and visited the beautiful night market again.

After that, we visited the temple Preah Prom Roath, which is beautifully located directly on the river and feels very authentic.

There were tourists present, but you could still tell that the temple is inhabited by monks and is a place of active religious practice.

It was definitely beautiful to stroll through this sacred place and take a closer look at the pretty buildings.

Finally, we went back to the restaurant from the day before because we had enjoyed it so much — and once again, we were not disappointed.

Our days in Siem Reap were slowly coming to an end.

The city had surprised me with its liveliness. Siem Reap is definitely worth a visit, even apart from the temples.

Still, I was already very excited about the next stage of our journey.
