Day 8: Final Hours by the Pool and Journey Home

We took it easy on our last day. First, we went to the restaurant and enjoyed one final round of the many delicious treats this dream hotel had to offer.

We had sausages with grilled peppers and grilled tomatoes. Then there was chorizo, cheese, vegetables, and bread.

My partner also had some eggs – I don’t like eggs myself. Afterwards, I couldn’t resist some churros con chocolate – I just love them too much.

Gerhard preferred cake and croissants. It was absolutely delightful.

After this leisurely breakfast, we packed our suitcases.

We spent the last few hours at the pool and took one more walk through the hotel’s beautiful garden.

We had one last coffee at the promenade.

Then it was time to head to the airport. We returned our car and eventually boarded our flight home.

It was already dark by the time we landed back home five hours later.
This wonderful holiday will stay with us forever.
