At the water park

My son had been looking forward to today for a long time—it was time to go to the water park.

It took about 20 minutes to get there from our hotel. On the large car park we could park our car. Then we were ready to plunge into the adventure.

My dear child wanted to try every single slide.

I’m more of a scaredy‑cat—too fast and too steep are not for me. So I contented myself with the gentler slides and floated along the “Lazy River” on a tube.

At midday, we treated ourselves to a short break and devoured a pizza in one of the restaurants.

We again spent the afternoon between slides, wave pool, Lazy River and numerous other activities the water park had to offer.

In the evening, we prepared another meal in the apartment. We were too tired to go out again.
Finally, we fell into bed utterly exhausted and happy.

Schließlich fielen wir todmüde und glücklich ins Bett.
