Day 13: The Last Day and Journey Home

Unfortunately, even the most beautiful vacation eventually comes to an end, and so the final day arrived.

We had a leisurely breakfast at the beach again.

We spent the rest of the day at the pool and beach, savoring every last moment of our vacation.

In the evening, we packed our suitcases and then enjoyed one last delicious dinner by the beach. One last time, we watched the sun slowly disappear on the horizon.

We ended the evening quietly and peacefully.

The next morning, it was time to say goodbye.

We first took a bus to Chania, then another to Heraklion, from where our plane brought us back home after about a three-hour flight.

This vacation will forever remain a beautiful memory.
