Day 5: Farewell to Lake Wörthersee

After four wonderful days, we awoke to gloomy weather on our last day . The sky was probably just as sad as we were to be heading home again.

We had breakfast one last time at the guesthouse. Then we packed our things and drove back to the rest of the family.

Despite the bad weather, we all wanted to glide across the lake together one more time. The atmosphere was completely different from the days before.

Dark clouds hung in the sky, the lake looked dark, almost black. The ambiance was almost mystical. That’s how we enjoyed our last hours on the lake.

But when a thunderstorm slowly began to roll in, we left the water as quickly as possible.

Then it was time to head home. But I definitely want to visit Lake Wörthersee again someday.
