Day 8: The Last Day

We wanted to spend our last day completely relaxed. So after breakfast we made our way to the beach, where we rented two sunbeds.

We spent the next hours reading and swimming.

The weather was perfect again – the sun was shining from the sky, the sea was wonderfully refreshing.

At lunchtime we ate again at our favorite restaurant; the food was as delicious as always!

The afternoon passed in a similar way, and only when the sun was already very low did we head back to the hotel.

There, we sadly packed our suitcases.

For dinner, we went once more to the fish restaurant where we had celebrated my birthday. It was a wonderful evening with excellent food and cool wine.

On the way back, we enjoyed the beautiful promenade one last time.

The next day, right after breakfast, we were picked up from the hotel again.

At the airport, complete chaos awaited us. I’ve flown a lot in my life and seen many airports, but I have never experienced such disorganized confusion! Surprisingly, we still managed to catch our flight on time.

I definitely want to visit Montenegro again; one week is simply not enough to explore this breathtaking country.
