Day 5: The Last Day

Once again, it was time to say goodbye.

We enjoyed the wonderful breakfast buffet at the hotel one last time. Then we packed our few belongings. Although we had to check out of our room, the hosts kindly allowed us to spend the rest of the day by the pool.

Since it was expected to get very hot again, we gladly accepted the offer. So we spent the day swimming, reading, and relaxing one last time. It was a wonderful end to a dreamy short holiday.

Around 4:00 p.m., we began our journey home. We took the motorway straight from Sankt Georgen and were back home in less than four hours — with many memories in our luggage!

We’ll definitely return to the Salzkammergut!
