A Day on the Vodka
Today promised to be a particularly fun day: together with some friends and acquaintances from the hotel, we had booked a private boat trip on the “Vodka.” The anticipation was huge.
We were picked up at the hotel before 9:00 a.m. and taken to the local harbor. There, our charming boat was already waiting for us.
The mood was cheerful; everyone looked forward to the tour with excitement.
Then the time had come: the lines were cast off, the boat glided smoothly over the turquoise blue water as we sailed along the coasts of Türkler, Incekum, and Avsallar. A special moment was the view of our hotel from the sea – a completely new perspective!
We cruised for hours. The mood was lively, and drinks – both alcoholic and non-alcoholic – were plentiful.
Especially the beer flowed in streams. I don’t like beer and hardly drink alcohol but toasted with a glass of wine with the others.
It was nice to see the area where we had spent so many holidays from the water for once.
In a small, secluded bay, we anchored. There was the opportunity to swim in the sea, which some of us – including me, of course – gladly took.
Together with a few friends, I swam to the fine sandy beach where we went ashore. We really enjoyed our time there.
During our swimming trip, the captain fired up the grill on board and prepared a delicious lunch. There was juicy meat, pasta, and a crunchy salad.
The food was phenomenal, and whoever wanted could even get seconds. When there’s delicious salad, I can never say no!
After lunch, we went out into the open sea again. Unfortunately, we didn’t see any dolphins, but there was another chance to swim in the sea, and anyone who knows me knows that nothing is better for me than swimming in the open sea. Nowhere else do I feel a greater sense of freedom.
Unfortunately, even the nicest day eventually comes to an end, so it was time to return to the hotel.
There we let the day fade away by the pool, where in the late afternoon we could even catch another glimpse of the “Vodka.”
This day was one of the best of the entire holiday.
